Dance historian Barbara Sparti passed away

Barbara Sparti was an authority on early dance.

She was appointed by Carina Ari Library´s professor Bengt Häger to prepare the facsimile edition of the unique treatise he had acquired for the library: Ercole Santucci's "Mastro da Ballo" from 1614.

This became the Library´s "Publication No. 1" in a series of important dance publications.

As expected, Barbara Sparti did an admirable job.
We will honor her memory.
